~~Daily Thanksgivings~~
Mark Twain
Good Tuesday Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?
Today I am thankful for...
1. Understanding and appreciating my RNY, realizing that this is a tool that I ALONE must work for success.
2. My healthier new lifestyle, no medications for preventing obesity related issues.
3, My health care provider and my surgeon who made this healthier lifestyle possible.
4. My husband who wasn't convinced at first of the idea but who is now my biggest supporter!
OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?
I am thankful for ....
(1) my family, friends and loved ones
(2) RNY back on August 10, 2007 and overall good health
(3) that I have a job
Terry

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!
We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they
ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

I am thankful for feeling better today.
My understanding husband and family.
That my daughter-in-laws mother can take care of the kids when I am sick. We usually take turns watching them.
1. My friends, who never forget I am only a phone call away. It makes my day so much brighter that I have them to talk to
2. Doug, who works so hard just for me. I need insurance and that is the ONLY reason he is working.
3. My family, who I love being around, I just wish I could see them more.
4. all my doctors, all specialists who take such good care of me. Also for some reason they are also very cute!!! Even doctor Gorgeous!!
Thanks Barb for keeping this going, and wishing you the best of luck in your 2nd interview...I think you are going to nail the job!
Hugs and love, Diane
Today I am thankful for...
1. My new car!!! yay!
2. Lake Tahoe trip for Labor Day weekend (a christmas gift from my Parents)!!!
3. The beautiful weather which allows me to walk all over this beautiful San Francisco!!!
4. My OH friends who feel more like family.
5. Disneyland trip 9/11-9/14!
Love & Hugs to Everyone today!!!
I am thankful for the miracles that modern medicine can produce. A surgeon who somehow managed to slice and dice me into a new woman who has no belly. The drug of vicodin which makes the pain bearable and makes it possible for me to sleep at night.
Shampoo!!! I have not taken a shower since Friday morning. My hairstylist/friend dropped by to visit me today and she washed my hair in the kitchen sink and blowdried my hair. I feel so much fresher and clean!
Pillows - it took all the pillows I could find to prop underneath me so I could sleep on my back finally!!
